Workshops & Courses in Improvisation...

The 'Impro Games' One-Day Workshop

Once you've completed a beginners course, the best and easiest way to employ your new-found skills as an improviser is to learn a bunch of performance games. And you can do so right here under the guidance of an experienced improviser.

Who is this course aimed at?

  • Anyone who has completed a beginner's impro course
  • Actors & Performers
  • Improvisers who wish to refresh/extend their existing skills

(This course is not recommended for complete beginners)

Tell me about the course...

The strength of impro games (as opposed to scenes) is they give us a strong structure to practise your skills - usually refining one or two aspects of your ability.

We look at games to stretch:

  • Your verbal skills
  • Your physicality
  • Your spontaneity
  • Your listening and awareness

And games are just plain fun!

The day also briefly recaps the basic impro skills.

Who are our teachers?

Your teacher will be an experienced performer/improviser who is used to teaching everyone from students at drama school, to trainee GPs to computer programmers. Our tutors are experts in providing a safe and relaxed atmosphere in which to learn, experiment and have fun.

Group Size

The groups size is limited to 12 people so there will be lots of time to practice your skills.
